We had originally gone with the a popular known company that proved to be more expensive, predatory and had poor customer service. I'm happy I chose Univercity Solar. From contract to installation it was only 3 weeks. Their work was super clean. Throughout the process, Dave provided responsive, personalized customer service. He visited my home and designed a system specific for my household's needs. I found he is extremely knowledgeable about solar products and he designed a system that was efficient, cost effective, and looked good on my roof. After a lot of research and a few in home estimates UniverCity Solar came highly recommended. Not to mention their rates were cheaper than the previous companies we had talked to. Hey just wanted to come on here and let everybody know about our solar experience with Univercity Solar...Before we decided to get solar we reached out to all our friends that had solar to talk to them about what to look out for. We heard all the horror stories, for trampled plants to installations with out proper permits, to installs on the wrong side of the house. Happy to say we experienced none of these things. From the start the entire process was easy, and laid back. We met with John and David and discussed what our plans were with the house. Next we had a few surveys on the house for planning. Then we had the panels installed within a few weeks. Installation took 2 days and the panels look great. The wife and I were worried about the look of solar on the Front of the house John assured us his panels would be low profile and solid black. They look great and we are happy customers. We have a brand new home in Yucaipa and knew we wanted solar the minute we moved in. In our past homes dealing with solar companies was such a pain. Pushy, aggressive sales tactics and exhausting. That is NOT the case with Univercity. David was our first point of contact and set us up with John who made an appt to chat with myself and my husband. He listened to our needs (Tesla charging, pool, etc) as well as looked at our Edison bill. Univercity built a system that would meet all of our needs and beyond. As a small business owner myself, customer service is the most important aspect and this company could not have done better. The meeting was quick, efficient and thorough. The install was even better. There was zero damage to my yard, roof, or the exterior of our home. The noise wasn't an issue at all and our panels were installed in a day and a half. The panels are low profile, black, and don't look like an eyesore on our brand new home. I would recommend this business above and beyond to anyone I know. You're in good hands with David and John!
